Nasi goreng (English version)

  • 400 gr. Chicken cubes
  • 2 large onions, minced
  • some garlic
  • margarine or olive oil for frying
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp ketoembar (=coriandre)
  • 0.5 tsp laos
  • some sambal (=red pepper/chili paste)
  • some sweet soya
  • salt, pepper
  • 350 gr. White rice

Boil the rice as you usually do.
Melt the margarine and fry the chicken cubes until they are nicely brown.
Add salt, pepper, curry, garlic and onions.
After 5 min. add ketoembar and laos, sambal and soya.
Mix together with the boiled rice.
Serve with pickles and a fried egg.
